 On
wing and cantilever style pallets, dekboards overhang or project
beyond the outside edge of block
or stringer. The pallet
overhang can apply to either width of the pallet (wing) or the legth
(cantilever). Wings are mostly symetric on both sides of the pallet
(double wing). The projection of a single side (single wing) is
much rarer. |  |
The projection of the top deck can be equal or different of that of the bottom
deck. Overhang can exist on one or both decks. | |
A reduction in the span between stringers or blocks found in the wing pallet increases
