Two wood pallet businesses located on Grant Street, Lisbon, were reported broken into on Wednesday. Officials at Lisbon Pallet reported 33 blank checks were missing from the filing cabinet, along with a signature stamp, plaque and clock. Officials at LDR Pallet reported a small office refrigerator and three claw hammers were stolen.
An official with XL Sand and Gravel, Jackman Road, Negley, reported Wednesday ATV riders were trespassing on the property, mostly on weekends.
A deputy was called to a home on Depot Road, Center Township, at 3:18 a.m. Wednesday after after she discovered her 17-year-old daughter's male friend hiding in the house. The woman said she woke to check on her daughter, who said she just got out of the shower, when she found the 22-year-old Columbiana man hiding. The friend had been at the house earlier and left at midnight, but her daughter admitted letting him back in. The young man was escorted from the premises and told by the deputy he would be charged if he returned or continued to have contact with the underage girl.
A deputy was called to stand by while an ambulance was summoned to provide assistance at a home on Y & O Road, Madison Township, at 12:03 a.m. Wednesday.

The home of Mary Curtis, Bye Road, East Palestine, was found broken into on Monday, and a number of items were stolen and the house was stripped of its copper waterlines and an air conditioner. This occurred while the owner was in Florida.
