 06/03/20 PVAXX pallets in demand

PVAXX, a Bermuda-based materials science and technology corporation, has announced the launch of a major international marketing drive following a strong response to its revolutionary new composite shipping pallets at the Gulfood Exhibition recently concluded in Dubai, which saw participation from more than 1,800 companies from 65 countries around the world.
The event is the premier trade show in the region for the rapidly expanding global food industry.

The strong interest in PVAXX’s pallets there clearly demonstrates the importance and growing desire among industry majors to identify and secure the right storage and transportation facilities for their products.

Currently, a majority of pallets in use are wooden and environmental considerations combined with concerns over sanitation and product and pallet damage are encouraging the industry to look for new alternatives.

Specifically, this includes plastic pallets, which are capable of allowing for the movement of food across international markets in a more cost and operationally efficient manner.

Jan Bak, vice-president of sales and marketing, said: “We are delighted by the strong interest and demand that continues to be exhibited from a global customer base for PVAXX’s one-of-a-kind composite shipping pallets.

“Pallet consumers from multiple industry sectors, including the food industry, recognise that our patented SILUMA rackable pallets and platforms offer a recyclable, more durable and cost effective alternative.

“At Gulfood, we were visited by more than 200 companies from 36 countries including those from the GCC, surrounding Arab states, Europe, the Indian Sub-Continent, Asia, Australia and Africa.

“All of these companies were looking for the right quality pallet, in the right place and at the right time.

“We believe the PVAXX pallet fulfills all of these criteria and is the long term solution these customers are seeking.”

During the four day exhibition, PVAXX met with numerous potential distributors and sales agents from around world and established dialogue with a significant number of potential direct buyers from across the GCC, Indian sub-continent, Europe and Far East.

In conclusion, Bak added: “We look forward to meeting the growing needs of pallet consumers across the world as we work towards the rollout of our first pallet manufacturing facility.

“As we do so, we will continue to participate in key exhibitions that bring us closer to our vast customer base in other important markets and have concluded plans to take our revolutionary new pallets to additional exhibitions in Brisbane, Singapore, Shanghai, Buenos Aires, Paris and Bombay in the months ahead.”

PVAXX recently inaugurated its 100,000 sq foot “flagship” corporate headquarters and planned training and demonstration facility in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZ) and is awaiting the delivery at the end of March of its bespoke rotational moulding machines that once on line will be capable of producing some 1.5 million composite shipping pallets for global distribution.
