UK-based pallet network Palletways has signed up six new members to increase its network coverage.
Palletways UK network MD Craig Hibbert said: "Underpinning our ongoing expansion programme is an overriding commitment to bring members closer to their customers with fewer miles to travel for collections and deliveries. In doing so we aim to further develop new business, maximise the efficiency of our network and reduce our carbon footprint."
The new members are Speed Distribution, covering Llandridnod Wells and Aberystwyth; James Jardine, covering Galashields and Dumfries; Connect Logistics, covering Watford; First Warehouse Logistics, covering Romford and Dagenham; FA Hawkins, covering Slough, Ascot and Windsor; and PS Ridgway, covering Dundee.
Hibbert added: "Our latest members will also benefit from a range of services Palletways offers, including deliveries to Europe, enabled by the Palletways European network covering 10 countries, as well as low cost quarter and half pallet rates that they can pass onto their customers.
