 2008-12-11 -CHEP Names Malloy Chief Customer Officer


Fifteen-year company veteran to drive quality and performance initiatives

As part of CHEP's renewed commitment to quality and service, the global leader in pallet and container pooling services, today named Brian Malloy Chief Customer Officer of CHEP USA. Malloy, who is also Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the US operation, reports to Kevin Shuba, President of CHEP Americas.
In his new role, Malloy adds the responsibility for commercial operations and the customer service organization to his sales and marketing roles. He is based in CHEP's Covington, Kentucky office.
"Brian has been an integral part of our growth in the US, signing dozens of major manufacturers and distributors during his career, has long term senior level relationships with dozens more and is active with industry associations like Grocery Manufacturing Association and Food Marketing Institute. As part of the company's ongoing commitment to quality and service, he now manages all customer-facing activities, which will improve our product offering and the overall CHEP experience," said Shuba.
Malloy plans to focus the sales, marketing and service organization on the customer to ensure the company's financial investment in a quality infrastructure is coordinated with industry requirements.

Prior to joining CHEP in 1994, Malloy managed sales and marketing activities at Roadway Services (now part of FedEx). He holds a BA from Western Illinois University.
