AUSTRALIAN pallet management and reconciliation software developer 2ic will see its solution supplied to rental pallet users throughout the United States and Mexico.
The exclusive memorandum of understanding between 2ic and Ongweoweh will allow the American company to reduce material handling costs for its customers.
Ongweoweh was founded in 1978 and distributes, manages, recovers and recycles more than 17m pallets annually throughout North America. With annual sales approaching US$80m, it is one of the 50 largest minority-owned companies in the USA.
The 2ic solution was originally developed for the Australian market. However, distribution began in the UK and Canada during 2007. The cost and time savings afforded by the software are said to have seen widespread acceptance.
