Packaging machinery manufacturer A-B-C has created a pallet-handling device that can be used as either a pallet dispenser or pallet stacker. This flexible system can automatically stack empty pallets after depalletizing or dispense pallets for palletizing. It can handle both conventional full pallets as well as the half pallets that are popular for end-aisle displays or custom merchandising.

The A-B-C system utilizes a side-clamp design that grips pallets securely while providing gentle handling. This design makes the system forgiving for pallets that are damaged or skewed. The lift and place design also accommodates pallets with loose boards or protruding nails, problems that can cause malfunctions on stripper-style pallet dispensers.

This pallet handler has a lift capacity rating of up to 1,000 pounds. The self-contained unit ships ready for installation on the packaging line, with only electric and air connections required. Chain or roller conveyor is provided, depending on the application.
