2007-10-15 ECOPAL – the future of pallets
Today the 100% recyclable paper pallet Ecopal has firmly established itself as the most successful paper pallet in the world with 9 manufacturing sites in 3 continents run by independent and innovative corrugated board manufacturers.
This year Bini & C. - the Italian machinery manufacturing company that originally developed the system - has delivered a fast version of the system to Kaysersberg Saint Just, France and to Societè des Emballages du Sud (SES) in Tunisi, Tunisia.

Kaysersberg surge in orders has prompted the company to support Bini in the development of a machine that has increased the original speed by 20%.
SES, at the forefront of innovation in the expanding Tunisian market , will receive its first machine by the end of the year.
The pallet Ecopal main claim is not to replace wood pallet but rather is to provide a flexible, cost effective, industrially produced packaging and transport system. The customer can then express its own creativity to modify the basic structure to meet a wide range of applications from industrial to consumer goods.

Ecopal has also the advantage of being light weight for air transportation and of being modular, with the possibility of offering a light or a heavy duty pallet.
The pallet is 100% recyclable and a recent study by the Italian Packaging Institute has demonstrated its lower impact on the environment.
Mr. Marco Bini sees the future of this pallet growing in many different directions both in markets with advanced logistic systems to expedite the delivery of goods and help workers in the handling in the shipping department but also in developing markets without large wood supplies or with important export volumes.
