2007-04-05 ALR announces recent expansion
ALR announced its recent expansion of its pallet repair operations.
ALR recently took over management of a pallet repair facility in Norwood, Massachusetts owned by CHEP, the global leader in pallet and container pooling services, serving customers in a wide range of industrial and retail supply chains.
This is the second facility that ALR manages for CHEP USA. ALR has successfully managed a facility in Scarborough, Maine for the past eight years where they maintain in excess of 60,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space specifically dedicated to pallet processing. The facility in Norwood is 100,000 square feet. At these facilities, ALR has the capability to receive, sort, stack, recondition, and ship pallets to any location in New England.
We are all very excited about this recent expansion and the opportunity it creates here in Maine for our employees says Skip Sullivan, President of ALR. By bringing out of state revenue into Maine, we are able to continue our growth and provide opportunities here at home.
ALR, located in South Portland, is a service company providing project management, office installation and reconfiguration, warehousing and warehouse management, and retail equipment installation. For more information, please visit their website at www.alr-inc.com.
