2007-02-22 EL AL awards WFS freight contract

EL AL, Israel's national airline, has given its cargo handling contract at Heathrow to Worldwide Flight Services (WFS).

It will handle around 145 tonnes of inbound cargo each week.

WFS is also responsible for building freighter pallets bound for the airline's all-cargo services from Amsterdam Schiphol, Liege and Luxembourg for connections to the USA and Asia.
