Use the IFCO Applicator to quickly and easily find the right IFCO Reusable Plastic Container

Pullach, Germany – 29. January 2007 IFCO SYSTEMS, the world's leading company for RPC- and Pallet-Management-Services, presents its IFCO Applicator, which has been expanded to include with many new functions, at Fruit Logistica, Hall 02.1, Stand D-14.

With the IFCO Applicator, IFCO SYSTEMS helps its customers and partners to select the right Reusable Plastic Container for their products and their respective individual requirements.
The IFCO Applicator shows the diverse uses of nine different types of RPC across Europe and the most efficient way of packing the products into the selected IFCO Reusable Plastic Container.
The completely revised IFCO Applicator again reflects IFCO SYSTEMS' strong focus on its customers and service by offering its customers and partners even easier access to information and solutions.

The IFCO Applicator – a valuable everyday tool!

"Customer and partner support in their day-to-day operations is particularly important to us. In just 3 stages, the Applicator offers our customers the chance to calculate quantities on a completely individual basis and to prepare the packaging proposal", explains Wolfgang Orgeldinger, Chief Operating Officer at IFCO SYSTEMS N.V.

Start by simply selecting the product and/or the desired IFCO Reusable Plastic Container. The user then receives all the required information regarding the net and gross weight per RPC (filled) and pallet as well as regarding the number of RPCs and layers on the pallet.
Of course, there is the option of switching between European and industrial pallets.
It is very simple to carry out an individualised quantity calculation using the additional option of filling.
To do this, simply enter the required amount of RPCs or pallets and select the corresponding stacking height.
The user receives a personal packaging proposal which of course can also be printed out or saved as a pdf.
Naturally, the complete printed version of the Applicator, as well as the individual pages, sorted by product, are stored for downloading in the IFCO Applicator.
The expanded IFCO Applicator is available in 8 languages on the IFCO home page at February 8.
