06/05/04 PVAXX unveils new pallets at Singapore show
PVAXX Ltd, a Bermuda-based materials science and technology corporation group,
headquartered in Dubai, today unveiled its revolutionary new composite shipping
pallet and platform to the Southeast Asian market at FHA2006, Asia’s
premier international food and hospitality exhibition.
PVAXX’s participation at the event comes in response to strong initial customer demand for its one-of-a-kind pallets from the global food industry and other pallet consumers from within Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia.
PVAXX’s composite pallet present a more durable and cost-effective alternative to those products currently available on the market as companies across multiple industry sectors seek new and more efficient logistics solutions and methods for transporting goods across international markets, said a spokesman.
Compared with traditional wooden pallets, which comprise a majority of pallets in use today, the PVAXX pallet presents a more environmentally friendly option while simultaneously addressing growing concerns, particularly amongst the food industry, over sanitary considerations as well as product and pallet damage, he said.
Exhibiting among more than 2,000 companies at FHA2006, PVAXX aims to demonstrate the competitive advantages of its pallets in these and other areas.
Furthermore, the company hopes to engage with potential customers to gain a better understanding of the needs of pallet consumers in Southeast Asian market, where 2005 saw pallet sales reach $200 million. This included sales of more than 20 million pallets, a figure that is expected to rise exponentially in the years ahead.
Present in Singapore, Jan Bak, vice president of sales and marketing at PVAXX
said: “We are delighted to take part in this event, which brings together
what we see as a key customer segment in a very important and fast growing
market. We believe there is great potential in Southeast Asia and around the
globe for PVAXX’s one-of-a-kind composite pallets and we are committed
to ensuring that consumers throughout the world recognise the significant
advantages that this revolutionary product can offer.’’-TradeArabia
