15/12/05 IFCO SYSTEMS Announces the Grand Opening of Three New Pallet Services Facilities; New facilities are designed to meet the growing needs of IFCO's local and national customers
IFCO SYSTEMS announced today the Grand Opening of three new Pallet Services Facilities located in Westborough, MA, Tooele, UT and Bakersfield, CA. These facilities, serving the Boston, Salt Lake City and central California markets, respectively, bring the total number of IFCO's pallet & container service centers to 53. The addition of these new locations further strengthens IFCO's position as the nation's leading asset-based pallet & container logistics services company.
All of the new facilities are situated with ample capacity for production and storage for just-in-time inventory services for area customers. These facilities will service many new customers as well as current customers including Target, Cargill, McLane Foodservice, Kmart, Office Depot, Tyson, Scotts, Rite-Aid and The Home Depot. All of the facilities will bring at least 25 new jobs to each area in the first year.
"Being a national company allows IFCO to offer a complete range of services for pallet management, from supply through recovery, reconditioning and disposal. Our broad infrastructure, expertise and flexibility mean we can develop customized, single-source solutions to improve our customers' supply chains," says Dave Russell, President, IFCO SYSTEMS North America.
