13/09/05 Automated palletising solution for the beverage industry
AUTEFA Automation have released a unique solution for today's market need
for multiple product pallet shipments. Autefa's partner in Oceania is HBM
Packaging Technologies.
Can collate and palletise from multiple streams of products.
As manufacturers are now being asked to supply shelf ready, multiple product shipments to retailers, an automated solution has become a high priority for many beverage bottlers.
The Autefa design allows for collation and palletising from multiple streams of products (cans, glass and plastic bottles) with various pack sizes.
The design minimises floor space when compared to conventional multi-axis robot solutions while maintaining full programmable flexibility, including the positioning of alternative pallet (for example, half size) and layer board sizes if required.
As the design uses many common components, the cost compared to traditional systems is also reduced.
Autefa has installed several of these systems in Europe in the last three months, with more orders currently in their program.
