2006-04-03 EU reopens investigation into dumping of China-made hand pallet trucks
The European Union has reopened its investigation into dumping of China-made hand pallet trucks and parts in its market after receiving complaints that current duties imposed on the products are not high enough.
The Official Journal of the European Union said that four European producers had provided evidence that the anti-dumping duties earlier levied on the China-made goods had not led to a price recovery in the market or stemmed the flood of imports from China.
Hand pallet trucks are trolleys used to carry pallets.
The journal gave no details of the level of anti-dumping duties currently imposed on the China-made imports.
