Treatment of the wood: Toxic playground

The Time in an article of 2 pages say that 98% of the wood sold for outdoor use in theUSA is treated with chromated copper arsenate.In Florida alone, that adds up to nearly 30,000 tons of arsenic.

These areas are composed by a big number of elements of treated woods that can lead to nerve damage,dizziness and numbness, as well as increased risk of blander, lung and skin cancer.

In the other side, these treatments can produce risk of the pollution induced in case of dumping it in an unlined landfill allows arsenic to seep underground and burning it fills the air with toxics smoke.
