James Roy Fulkerson died May 3, 2008, at age 72.

James Fulkerson was born Nov. 13, 1935, in Antelope and later moved to Mulino. He graduated from Canby High School and served four years in the Marines. He owned and operated Pallet Repair Service.

Survivors include his daughters, Kathy Tucker, Carmen Chappue and Rita Chappue; sons, Roy and James; stepchildren, Bobby Smith, Randy Tacker and Debbie Senseney; sisters, Chris Johnson and Judy Bumgarner; 21 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
