A new generation of multiple pallet handles incorporates a unique guide system for easy handling, improved visibility and exact arm travel, its inventors say.
German forklift attachment manufacturer MEYER says it understands the demands for large volume turnover, speed, safety and reliability.
The modern bar type design on the handlers can lift two pallets side by side (even with a gap between them) or closed. The optimum visibility and synchronised movement of the bolt-on forks increase the efficiency and safety of the fork lift, MEYER says.
Fork arms are hydraulically adjusted by a single lever from the driver's position.
Designed with precision machined, chromed and hardened shafts and a dual enclosure of the bushings, the multiple pallet handler series boasts excellent glide characteristics with synchronised forks. The provision of wiper seals, together with bushes which have a guaranteed 10,000 hour life, makes the series suitable to operate in hostile environments.
The glide characteristics of the MEYER range also ensure that less truck energy is required, the manufacturers say.
MEYER pallet handlers are renowned for lasting the full lifecycle of a rental agreement proving value for money for the end user. Key benefits of the range include: better visibility, lower weight = higher residual capacity, less maintenance requirements and safe load handling.
MEYER is owned by Italian attachment manufacturer, Bolzoni SpA and is distributed in Australia through Bolzoni-Auramo and Eurolift since late 2007.
